OSHA Withdraws Direct Final Rule for Signs, Signals, and Barricades Due to Adverse Comments

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is withdrawing its direct final rule for Signs, Signals, and Barricades, published on April 15, 2002, following significant adverse comments received from the public, and will instead address comments in a new final rule.
