OSHA Requests Comments on Proposed Extension of HAZWOPER Information-Collection Requirements
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is seeking public comment on its proposed extension of information-collection requirements under its Standard on Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER), which was established in 1986 as part of the Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act (SARA). The proposed extension would update the requirements for employers engaged in hazardous waste operations and emergency response, including the collection of information on worker protections and safety protocols.
