U.S. Department of Commerce Preliminarily Finds Countervailable Subsidies on Silicon Metal from Laos

The U.S. Department of Commerce has found that producers and exporters of silicon metal from Laos are receiving subsidies, and is seeking public comment on this preliminary determination. The investigation period was from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024.
