FDA Approves New Injectable Moxidectin for Dogs

The US Food and Drug Administration has approved a new animal drug application filed by Fort Dodge Animal Health, allowing for the veterinary prescription use of a sustained-release injectable moxidectin formulation to prevent heartworm disease and treat existing hookworm infections in dogs.
