FDA Extends Comment Period for Draft Guidance on Blood and Blood Products

The FDA is extending the comment period for its draft guidance on reducing the risk of Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD) and Variant CJD transmission through blood and blood products, originally set to close on October 28, 2001, to allow more time for review and comment.
