Changes to Automatic Visa Revalidation for Nonimmigrants Under the Immigration and Nationality Act
The U.S. Department of Immigration is updating its rules to make visa revalidation more secure for nonimmigrant aliens returning from short trips to North America or nearby islands. The new rules will exclude aliens who apply for new visas during these trips and those from countries identified as state sponsors of terrorism from automatic revalidation benefits.
