U.S. Office of Counterterrorism Issues Designation for New People's Army and Communist Party of the Philippines

The U.S. Office of Counterterrorism has made a determination pursuant to Section 1(b) of Executive Order 13224, designating the New People's Army and the Communist Party of the Philippines, led by Jose Maria Sison, as terrorist organizations.
