U.S. Government Grants Approval for Importation of Cultural Objects for Exhibition at The Metropolitan Museum of Art and Los Angeles County Museum of Art

The U.S. government has officially approved the importation of culturally significant objects from abroad for a temporary exhibition at The Metropolitan Museum of Art and Los Angeles County Museum of Art, scheduled to take place from October 28, 2002, to February 16, 2003, and possibly at additional venues, in accordance with the Act of October 19, 1965, and the Foreign Affairs Reform and Restructuring Act of 1998.
