US Department of Homeland Security Proposes Elimination of Crew List Visas Under Immigration and Nationality Act

The US Department of Homeland Security is proposing to amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to eliminate the crew list visa, which allows crewmen working on vessels and aircraft bound for the US to obtain visas without individual application forms or background checks, due to security concerns following the September 11, 2001 attacks.
