Federal Subsistence Board Imposes Emergency Closures and Adjustments on Yukon River to Protect Fall Chum Salmon

The Federal Subsistence Board has issued emergency closures to the Yukon River to safeguard fall chum salmon escapement, while allowing coho salmon harvesting, as an exception to the Subsistence Management Regulations for Public Lands in Alaska, published in the Federal Register on January 8, 1999.
