USDA Forest Service to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Shore Nuf Timber Sale Project in Oregon

The USDA Forest Service has announced plans to prepare an environmental impact statement for the Shore Nuf Timber Sale Project, a proposed timber sale in the Willamette National Forest, Oregon, which would involve thinning approximately 1200 acres of second-growth Douglas fir stands over the next five years.
