Oglethorpe Power Corporation to Receive Environmental Assessment for New Power Plant

The Rural Utilities Service is planning to prepare an Environmental Assessment for possible financing assistance to Oglethorpe Power Corporation to build a 652 megawatt power plant in Georgia, and will hold a public meeting on October 5, 2000.
