Proposed Establishment of Class E Airspace; Cape Lisburne, AK

This action proposes to establish Class E airspace at the Long Range Radar (LRR) site at Cape Lisburne, AK. The United States Air Force requested this action to create controlled airspace for the instrument approach and departure procedures to runway (RWY) 26 and RWY 08 at Cape Lisburne, AK. This action is necessary in order for the approach and departure procedures to be published in the U.S. Government Flight Information Publication, U.S. Terminal Procedures-- Alaska. Adoption of this proposal would result in the provision of adequate controlled airspace for Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) operations at Cape Lisburne, AK.
