US Withdraws Proposed Rule for Sugar-Containing Products

The US government has withdrawn a proposed rule to establish licensing for certain sugar-containing products under tariff-rate quota, following legal action by the Canadian government that addressed the rule's principal purpose by rescinding mandated increases in Canadian exports of these products.
