Notice of Proposed Changes in the National Handbook of Conservation Practices

The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is proposing changes to its National Handbook of Conservation Practices, which will include new or revised standards for erosion control, composting, deep tillage, fish passage, stream habitat management, land reconstruction, and other conservation practices. These changes will provide national guidance for state conservationists to adopt in their field office technical guides.
