Federal Reserve Requests Comments on Revised Rule for Electronic Check Collection

The Federal Reserve is seeking public comment on a revised proposed rule that would encourage depositary banks to receive and paying banks to send returned checks electronically, as part of its ongoing efforts to facilitate the banking industry's transition to fully electronic interbank check collection and return.
