US Department of Defense Expands Prosthetic Device Coverage Under CHAMPUS

The US Department of Defense has finalized a rule to expand coverage for prosthetic devices under the Civilian Health and Medical Program of the Uniformed Service (CHAMPUS), allowing for the purchase of additional prosthetic devices, including those for noses, ears, and fingers, due to trauma, congenital anomalies, or disease.
