EPA Removes Kassauf-Kimerling Battery Disposal Site from National Priorities List

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 4 has removed the Kassauf-Kimerling Battery Disposal Superfund Site from the National Priorities List (NPL), a list of contaminated sites deemed hazardous to public health and the environment, due to a lack of significant threats. This decision was made in collaboration with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) after a thorough assessment of the site's environmental risks.
