Turbomeca Arriel 1 Series Turboshaft Engines: New Airworthiness Directive Adopted

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a new airworthiness directive requiring the installation of a chip detector with electronic warning on Turbomeca Arriel 1 series turboshaft engines to address rear bearing failures that could lead to engine shutdowns.
