FAA Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Boeing 767 Engines
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) proposes a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Boeing 767 series airplanes powered by General Electric or Pratt & Whitney engines to prevent fatigue cracking in primary strut structure and reduce structural integrity. The directive would require repetitive inspections and corrective actions to address an identified unsafe condition.
