U.S. Department of Energy Announces Proposed Subsequent Arrangement with EURATOM to Expand Nuclear Cooperation

The U.S. Department of Energy has issued a notice proposing a subsequent arrangement with EURATOM to add Brazil, Kazakhstan, Romania, and Ukraine to the list of countries eligible to receive low-enriched uranium and other nuclear materials for peaceful nuclear fuel cycle activities, building on the country-specific agreements under Section 123 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954.
