NOAA Issues Emergency Regulations to Protect Sea Turtles from Atlantic Pelagic Longline Fishery

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has issued emergency regulations to protect sea turtles from the Atlantic pelagic longline fishery. The new rules require vessels with fishing permits to carry on board equipment to reduce turtle bycatch and mortality.
