US Department of Agriculture Reopens Comment Period for Animal Welfare Regulations Proposal

The US Department of Agriculture is extending the comment period for its proposal to revise and clarify exemptions from licensing requirements for animal sellers, as well as procedures for license applications and renewals, in an effort to improve animal welfare standards.
