Cessna Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Model 172 Airplanes

The Cessna Aircraft Company is proposing a new airworthiness directive to inspect and replace cracked main landing gear pivot assemblies on certain Model 172 airplanes, aiming to prevent gear-up landings and loss of braking.
