National Park Service Prepares Environmental Impact Statement for Petrified Forest National Park

The National Park Service is revising its general management plan for Petrified Forest National Park in Arizona, addressing concerns about the impact of new facilities on the park's natural environment and visitor experience, and will submit an environmental impact statement for approval by the Director of the Intermountain Region.
