City of Highland Seeks Permit for Road Project Impacting Endangered San Bernardino Kangaroo Rat

The City of Highland, California, has submitted an application to the Fish and Wildlife Service for a permit to allow incidental take of the endangered San Bernardino kangaroo rat during the construction of a new road project, which would permanently eliminate 0.046 acres of its habitat.
