SEC Adopts Amendments to Proxy Rules to Reduce Household Delivery Costs
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has adopted amendments to the proxy rules under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, allowing companies to deliver proxy statements and information statements to multiple security holders sharing the same address with a single document, known as 'householding,' in an effort to reduce printing and mailing costs and minimize duplicative information for security holders.
