Airworthiness Directives; Empresa Brasileira de Aeronautica S.A. (EMBRAER) Model EMB-135 and EMB-145 Series Airplanes - Amendment Clarifies Inspection Procedures

The Brazilian aviation authority has issued an amendment to an existing airworthiness directive for EMBRAER Model EMB-135 and EMB-145 series airplanes, clarifying inspection procedures for elevator servo tab and spring tab hinge fittings and adding a new inspection procedure for servo tab center hinge fittings. The amendment aims to prevent loss of control of the airplane by ensuring the secure attachment of these fittings.
