HUD Announces Revised Annual Adjustment Factors for Section 8 Housing Assistance Payments Program

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has released revised Annual Adjustment Factors (AAFs) for adjusting Section 8 contract rents, effective October 1, 2000, based on changes in residential rent and utilities costs as reported by the Bureau of Labor Statistics Consumer Price Index (CPI) and HUD's Random Digit Dialing (RDD) surveys.
