Bombardier Issues Airworthiness Directive for CL-604 Series Airplanes to Address Corrosion Risk
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has adopted a new airworthiness directive requiring inspections and repairs to prevent corrosion damage to the inboard flap actuator beam assembly and adjacent skin on Bombardier Model CL-600-2B16 (CL-604) series airplanes, which could compromise the structural integrity of the flap systems and reduce airplane controllability.
