FAA Rescinds Airworthiness Directive for ATR-42 and ATR-72 Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued an amendment to Airworthiness Directive (AD) 95-23-01, which affects Aerospatiale Model ATR-42 and ATR-72 series airplanes. The amendment rescinds the existing AD, which required revising the Airplane Flight Manual to include specific instructions for handling generator failures, in an effort to prevent subsequent generator failures.
