EPA Proposes Reclassification of Reno Planning Area Due to PM-10 Nonattainment

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed a reclassification of the Reno Planning Area in Nevada as a serious nonattainment area for particulate matter of 10 microns or less (PM-10) due to its failure to meet the national ambient air quality standards (NAAQS) by the mandated attainment date of December 31, 1994.
