EPA Proposes Adjustments to Michigan's Air Quality Plan

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to adjust the applicability date for reinstating the 1-hour ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS) in Allegan County, Michigan, and to approve the State of Michigan's request to redesignate the area for attainment of the 1-hour ozone NAAQS. This decision is based on three consecutive years of air monitoring data demonstrating the area's attainment of the ozone NAAQS.
