National Park Service Approves Plan to Eradicate Non-Native Black Rats from Anacapa Island

The National Park Service has approved a plan to implement a comprehensive program to eradicate non-native black rats from Anacapa Island, which are having a severely deleterious effect on native plants and animals, following a 30-day no-action period initiated in 2000.
