EPA Proposes to Use Delisting Risk Assessment Software in Hazardous Waste Evaluation

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to use the Delisting Risk Assessment Software (DRAS) to evaluate a delisting petition submitted by Eastman Chemical Company--Texas Operations, which seeks to exclude certain solid wastes from the list of hazardous wastes. The EPA aims to assess the impact of the petitioned waste on human health and the environment using the DRAS.
