Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, Oregon and Washington States; Statutory Amendments Regarding Appraisal Standards and Procedures

The US Forest Service has implemented statutory amendments to the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, allowing landowners to sell their properties to the federal government without appraisal restrictions until April 1, 2001, and considering zoning and land use restrictions thereafter.
