FMCSA Publishes Updated List of Restricted, Designated, and Preferred Routes for Hazardous Materials Transportation

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has released an updated list of routes for transporting radioactive and non-radioactive hazardous materials, replacing a previous listing published in 1998 and required by the Hazardous Materials Transportation Act of 1975. The updated list, which reflects changes made by states and Indian tribes, must be submitted to the FMCSA within 60 days of any route changes.
