EEOC Publishes Final Regulation on Waivers of Rights and Claims

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has issued a final regulation clarifying that employees cannot be forced to give up previously received compensation under a waiver agreement before challenging the agreement in court, protecting the rights of older workers under the Older Workers Benefit Protection Act of 1990.
