US Department of Agriculture Finalizes Rule to Enhance Certification Integrity of the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

The US Department of Agriculture has adopted a final rule to implement legislative requirements affecting the WIC Program, which will require applicants to provide documentation of family income and proof of residency, starting from November 9, 2000, with limited exceptions.
