Copyright Office Denies DiMA Petition on Public Performance of Sound Recordings

The Copyright Office has rejected a petition by the Digital Media Association to expand the definition of 'Service' for public performance of sound recordings via digital audio transmissions, citing that the current definition does not require interaction with the consumer.
