Secretary Cancels Moratorium on American Shad Fishing in South Carolina

The Secretary of Commerce has lifted the federal moratorium on fishing for American shad in South Carolina's coastal waters, effective immediately, after the state met the requirements set by the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission's Interstate Fishery Management Plan.
