Airworthiness Directives; EMBRAER Model EMB-135 and EMB-145 Series Airplanes

Empresa Brasileira de Aeronautica S.A. (EMBRAER) has issued an airworthiness directive amendment for its EMB-135 and EMB-145 series airplanes, requiring a one-time inspection of the coupling hinge and locking fastener of the Gamah couplings in the wing dry bay to detect discrepancies. The action aims to prevent fuel leakage and fire in or around the wing by addressing the unsafe condition of rivet failure.
