US Fish and Wildlife Service Lists Nine Texas Invertebrates as Endangered
The US Fish and Wildlife Service has determined nine cave-dwelling invertebrates from Bexar County, Texas, to be endangered species under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended. These species, including ground beetles and spiders, face threats from habitat destruction, contamination, and construction in karst topography.
