EPA Proposes Approval of Texas Ozone Plan for Beaumont/Port Arthur Area

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve the Texas 1-hour ozone attainment demonstration State Implementation Plan (SIP) for the Beaumont/Port Arthur moderate ozone nonattainment area, which includes extending the ozone attainment date to November 15, 2007, and approving the state's enforceable commitment to perform a mid-course review and submit a SIP revision by May 2004.
