Medicare, Medicaid, and CLIA Programs; Extension of Certain Effective Dates for Clinical Laboratory Requirements Under CLIA

The Department of Health and Human Services has extended certain effective dates for clinical laboratory requirements to allow for revisions to quality control requirements and qualification standards for laboratory directors performing high complexity tests, without reducing current quality test performance standards.
