Farm Credit System Proposes Changes to Terminate FCS Charter and Become Financial Institution

The Farm Credit System is proposing amendments to its regulations to allow institutions to terminate their FCS charter and become financial institutions under another Federal or State chartering authority, with the goal of making the existing regulations apply to all System banks and associations.
