NRC Transfers Moab Uranium Mill License to Trust Amid Bankruptcy Proceedings

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has signed an order transferring the Source Material License SUA-917 for the Moab, Utah, facility and site from Atlas Corporation to the Moab Mill Reclamation Trust, following Atlas's bankruptcy filing in 1998 and subsequent settlement discussions with NRC and other parties.
