U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Publishes Report on Exemptions for Source and Byproduct Materials

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has released a report, NUREG-1717, which assesses exemptions for source and byproduct materials, a systematic approach to evaluating the radiological risks associated with these materials.
