NRC Reopens Comment Period for Decommissioning Criteria for West Valley Demonstration Project

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has extended the comment period for its draft policy statement on decommissioning the West Valley Demonstration Project and West Valley Site until April 1, 2000, following public feedback received during a January 5, 2000, meeting in West Valley, New York.
