Nuclear Regulatory Commission Proposes Amendment to Spent Fuel Storage Regulations

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is proposing to update its regulations to allow for the storage of certain types of spent nuclear fuel in a new system, the NAC International Universal Storage System (NAC-UMS), under Amendment No. 1 to the Certificate of Compliance (CoC).
